Kankariya Lake (Talav)
Located in the Maninagar area in the southern part of the city, the Kankaria Lake is the heart of every citizen of Ahmedabad. You do not need to visit a zoo, amusement park, balloon rides, and water parks separately as you get all these under the single roof of this lake.
Hutheesing Jain Temple
If spirituality is the word for you, this is your destination. This 18th century Jain temple was then built at a hugecost of 8 Lakh INR. Housing 11 deities in its two storey structure, the temple is adorned with 52 shrines (devakulika) each of them having an image of a Tirthankara (Guru of the Jains).
Being the home of Kites, it is impossible not to have something dedicated to this. The Kite Museum in Ahmedabad is the one that houses every kind of artifact, pictures and everything related to kites.
